Stamford North LL Outing

at Citi Field

As part of its Future Stars partnership with the New York Mets, Stamford North Little League enjoyed a fun Sunday at Citi Field.

We would like to thank the over 550 people from Stamford North Little League and guests who attended and supported the league, strengthening our community and making it such a great day.

Coaches and players.  Family and friends.

Team tailgate parties.

Kids playing wiffle ball in the parking lot before and after the Mets game.

Plastic Bat Day giveaway.

Youth league parade on a major league field.

"Joe from Stamford" as the trivia contestant between innings in a Ford on the field.

Great food and drink all day.

Waiting on the Shake Shack line.

Dunk tank, batting cages and swatting home runs in the Fan Fest area.

Cornhole tossing in the Coca-Cola Corner.

Mets winning the game and sweeping the series.

Kids running the bases after the game.

WHAT A DAY!

We want pictures!  Please share your photos and videos from the memorable 5/20 event by sending them to webmaster@stamfordnorthll.com and we'll get those posted here (for just league members to see).

Joe "Junie" DeLeo Scholarship Fund

Stamford North Little League is very proud to announce that we are doing a fundraising drive for the Joe "Junie" DeLeo Scholarship Fund. This fund is being set up in honor of Coach Joe, who celebrated his 50th year helping kids play baseball in Stamford.  All money received will go directly to a league graduate, we hope for the next decade, to help offset the costs of college.  Your tax-deductible donation can be made on our league website under the red  "DONATE NOW" button on the above right (in the Full Site version).  We hope you will make a gift, as every little bit helps!
