LITTLE LEAGUE TOURNAMENT

CHAMPIONSHIP

 

Connecticut District 1 Champion Stamford North 10U All-Star team came to within just one game of advancing to the States after losing to a tough Fairfield National team in the Sectional Championship game on Thursday night at Unity Park in Trumbull.

The boys went far in postseason tournament play and the league and team coaches and families are proud of their efforts over seven weeks of hard work and competition.

On July 9th at McGuane Park, Stamford North topped Darien, 7-3, to take the 10U Connecticut District 1 Championship.

Stamford North 10s advanced to the Section 1 Tournament among Districts 1, 2 and 4.

As part of its Future Stars partnership with the New York Mets, Stamford North Little League enjoyed a fun Sunday at Citi Field.

We would like to thank the over 550 people from Stamford North Little League and guests who attended and supported the league, strengthening our community and making it such a great day.

Joe "Junie" DeLeo Scholarship Fund

Stamford North Little League is very proud to announce that we are doing a fundraising drive for the Joe "Junie" DeLeo Scholarship Fund. This fund is being set up in honor of Coach Joe, who celebrated his 50th year helping kids play baseball in Stamford.  All money received will go directly to a league graduate, we hope for the next decade, to help offset the costs of college.  Your tax-deductible donation can be made on our league website under the red  "DONATE NOW" button on the above right (in the Full Site version).  We hope you will make a gift, as every little bit helps!
